Personal Chef for Manoj Adithya
Manoj Adithya, based in Amsterdam, is seeking an experienced and dedicated personal chef to prepare three high-protein, lean, and low glycemic index meals daily. This is a long-term role for a professional who is passionate about creating nutritious, flavorful dishes tailored to specific dietary needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and cook three meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for Manoj Adithya, ensuring all meals are:
- High-protein to support an active lifestyle.
- Lean to maintain a healthy weight and low fat intake.
- Low glycemic index ingredients, controlled carbohydrate portions, and no added sugars to manage blood glucose levels.
- Develop weekly meal plans in collaboration with Manoj, incorporating variety, seasonal ingredients, and personal preferences while adhering to dietary requirements.
- Source fresh, high-quality ingredients from local Amsterdam markets or suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Accommodate occasional special requests for meal adjustments or small gatherings, as discussed in advance.
- Track nutritional content of meals (e.g., protein, carbs, fats, and calories) to ensure compliance with dietary goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a personal chef, private cook, or in a similar role, with a strong background in preparing high-protein, lean, and low glycemic index meals.
- Knowledge of diabetic nutrition, including glycemic index/load, portion control, and suitable ingredients for blood sugar management.
- Culinary training or certification is preferred but not mandatory if experience is substantial.
- Familiarity with Amsterdam’s local food markets and suppliers is a plus.
- Ability to create diverse, flavorful menus that align with dietary restrictions without compromising taste.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to plan and prepare meals efficiently.
